Auran

This charming young man is Hayate Sho, an air genasi wizard. Genasi are rare, beautiful creatures who are born with their blood strongly connected to one of the four elements. Hayate is bonded to the element of air.

He has skin as white as clouds that is cool to the touch. His hair is sky blue, and always seems to be blowing back in the breeze, even when the air is still. His eyes are a lovely mixture of blue and grey, like a storm cloud. His body is lithe and slender, and he is able to rise up into the air as though flying with unseen wings. His white skin is covered by a uniquely flowing cloud-like pattern. Although most people mistake this for a tattoo, it is actually a birthmark that describes his origins, much like a family tree.

Hayate loves thunderstorms. He finds stirring up little windstorms to be especially fun, and will sometimes use such magic to playfully tease his friends. He is highly intelligent, and very easy to get along with.

Many years ago, Hayate became estranged from his family when he chose to worship the God of Travel rather than the Goddess of Air. He left home and dedicated himself to traveling the world, doing good deeds and befriending as many different people as he could. He considers "home" to be the company he keeps, rather than any particular structure or location.

During his journey he has met many souls who have changed his life, most notably the elf Theaa, who adopted him as a son and Rin, the changeling he fell in love with. Hayate and Rin are now married and continue to travel the realms side by side.
